Yoga for All
Yoga for All is a physical yoga class using strong stretches and yoga postures to develop health and fitness, and is suitable for most beginners and non-beginners.  The benefits of yoga for relaxation are well known, but it can also be used as a good physical exercise for health and fitness. Regular practice can give improved muscle tone, strength and stamina, as well as flexibility and balance. In the long term, benefits are often found in the mind and emotions as well as in the physical body with improvements such as clarity of thought and improved concentration. Benefits in relaxation and physical well-being are often felt quite quickly.
Tutor Jeremy Smallwood has been practising yoga since 1980 and teaching since the mid 1980s.  During the 1980s he trained in Iyengar-style yoga teaching but subsequently has developed his own ways of working, guided and influenced by his own experience and many other yoga teachers and sources.

Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga is a yoga class aimed at keeping the body supple. It is ideal for absolute beginners and those who feel their personal requirements prevent them from doing a strenuous class maybe because of age related stiffness, injuries or long or short term physical problems. Those looking for an early evening class will also be welcomed and will be put through a more strenuous stretch with each posture tailored to suit them. Tutor Jan Wise has been practising Yoga since 1991and teaching since the late 1990s. Jan came to Yoga after years of dance and many of the postures she uses are from dancing warm up routines and yoga styles influenced by dance.
